FUNYET Charter – 1/2 Day

FUNYET Charters offers fishing adventures in the Florida Keys with Captain John Sahagian, whose lifelong connection to the water began in Sarasota and continued through decades of fishing, diving, and marine education. After earning degrees in underwater technology and sport diving education, Captain John established FUNYET Charters in 1988 and later expanded the operation to include flats fishing. With deep local knowledge and years of experience across the Keys, he provides guests with a professional, informative, and memorable day on the water.

This half day trip is a good starting point for novice anglers but also works well with experienced fishers who have a busy schedule. You will have the chance to target a variety of species, including Pompano, Bonefish, and Permit around the flats. Head to the reefs and target Snapper, Amberjack, Pompano, Grouper, and more. The captain will supply the fishing gear and license. Pack sunblock, a cap, sunglasses, a towel, camera, food and drinks, water to stay hydrated, and a camera.
