Reef fishing is the perfect activity for families with kids or those who don’t have a full day to fish. Hundreds of fish species call our reefs home.   Consistent action and tasty catches make reef fishing a great choice for kids & adults alike.

As the name implies, reef fishing is done around the coral reef itself. Reef fishing is perfect for families, first-time anglers or as an alternative from offshore fishing when the weather gets rough or windy. 

Our patch reef fishing charter will take you out to the beautiful blue shallow waters where we’ll drop anchor, begin to chum and watch the feeding frenzy begin.

We will set you up with everything you need to bottom fish in this calm, sheltered water that runs anywhere from 6-30 feet deep.

There is a lot of activity on these reefs, so you have the possibility of catching anything from mangrove snappers, yellowtail snappers and grouper to grunts, porgies, hogfish, jacks, mackerel, barracuda, and sharks to name a few of the 600 species found on the reef, there is almost non-stop action as you catch fish after fish.

Captain Kevin Mitchell offers a variety of Chartered Trips – everything included.  We supply all of the fishing gear, license, bait, coolers and ice, fish cleaning and bagging is included. It is recommended you bring sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, camera, etc. You bring your drinks and any snacks!

And ladies, if fishing isn’t your thing, there is ample room on the bow of the boat for catching some rays!
